Veterans Alliance is hiring experienced Avionics Technicians to support aircraft modification and maintenance operations in Bridgeport, West Virginia. These are 12-month contract opportunities offering competitive pay and weekly per diem.
This opportunity is ideal for technicians with commercial MRO experience and strong backgrounds in heavy avionics modifications and wiring.

Responsibilities
- Perform heavy avionics modifications, upgrades, and wiring installations
- Install, route, and terminate wiring harnesses and electrical systems
- Troubleshoot avionics and electrical discrepancies and perform repairs
- Execute system upgrades and retrofit packages on commercial aircraft
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
- Conduct system checks and ensure proper functionality
- Maintain compliance with FAA, safety, and quality standards
- Accurately document all work performed
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of avionics experience – REQUIRED
- Commercial MRO experience – REQUIRED
- Experience with heavy mods and wiring – REQUIRED
- Strong ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
- CRJ experience preferred (for non-licensed role)
- A License required for licensed role; A&P preferred
- Commercial aircraft experience strongly preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass background check and drug screening
Compensation & Details
- Pay: $37.00/hr
- Up to $1,000/week total per diem (must qualify)
- Contract Length: 12 Months
- Platform: Commercial / CRJ
